Organic Directory description
The Hub metIS is a new concept in modular connected weather stations that can be installed directly in plots of land. In this way, parameters are measured as close as possible to the crop (rather than next to the plot). What's more, the price of Hub metIS is designed to be low, so that the number of sensors and measurement points can be multiplied (for a conventional connected weather station, 3 Hubs could be installed for the same cost). In this way, the variability present within farms and plots can be measured and exploited to adapt technical itineraries and varieties, as well as to improve crop management.

The solutions proposed by Cap 2020 enable the right dose to be applied in the right place at the right time, whether for crop protection treatments or cultivation operations. In this way, precision farming is made possible and the use of biocontrol solutions is facilitated and optimised.
