Tonik est une pomme bicolore (variété libre) qui possède un excellent potentiel de conservation : plus de 6 mois de stockage en froid normal, sans technologie coûteuse. Côté production, l'arbre est facile à conduire, avec une bonne productivité, régularité et calibre, peu sensible aux maladies. Côté consommateur, le fruit est croquant, sucré et acidulé.
