Structuring the hop-growing sector

The Houblon de l’Ouest organisation brings together organic hop growers in Pays de la Loire and Brittany. The organisation is responsible for the very first hop-producing EEIG in France. They are actively seeking to achieve technical progress on cultivation and to set benchmarks in Western France. A sustainable supply chain, which the producers are building up together with the brewers, is also a key issue. They are supported by the Pays de la Loire Chamber of Agriculture and the Pays de la Loire CAB.
