Dealing with root rots in lettuces
Tuesday, January 17, 2023 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM · 30 min. (Europe/Paris)
Information
Root rots in lettuce production are caused by a combination of parasitic soil fungi (Rhizoctonia, Phytophthora, Sclerotinia, Pythium and Fusarium), which cause severe yield losses of up to 75%.
We will address the main symptoms of such diseases as well as the conditions that favour their growth. We will outline a range of prophylactic measures to curb any outbreak. In combination with these preventive measures, we will present a programme focussing on 2 biofungicides: Prestop WP and LALSTOP Contans WG.
