Information

The use of repellent plants to protect vegetable crops against thrips, aphids and flies is a new avenue to explore in the field of plant health. Thanks to a work approach combining behavioural tests, analysis of VOCs emitted by plants, field experiments and sociological analyses, the REPULSE project (2020-2022), led by CTIFL and supported by CASDAR, aims to develop and evaluate plant associations that can limit the use of synthetic insecticides without compromising the producers’ yield objectives.
