Choice and management of alternatives to herbicides in a vineyard agronomic system

Stopping the use of herbicides is a real turning point for a farm. From the management of weed in the inter-row/under the ridge to robotics, going through eco-pasture or electric weeding, a diversity of practices is emerging.  In addition to the effectiveness of weed control and the technical and economic results, this method requires agronomic control and the integration of these "new" techniques into the farming system. Soil compaction, erosion, fertility, carbon balance, etc., through the implementation of these practices, agronomy is a pillar of soil resilience, and should be considered right from the planting stage! More than stopping the use of herbicides, it is a real diversification of sustainable management practices for wine-growing soils that the winegrowers will use tomorrow on their estate.
