Diversification of cropping systems: from agronomic benefits to the structuring of sectors - Feedback from various sectors
Information
Crop rotation diversification is a major asset for reducing the use of phytosanitary products. The PEI Santé du végétal regional project has made it possible to support the structuring of various plant sectors. The hemp production sector for local distribution supported by the Chanvre et Paysans association will testify to the obstacles and levers encountered for the creation of a new local sector. The example of the VitiPPAM operational group, combining vine growing and Perfume, Aromatic and Medicinal Plants inter-rows, will illustrate the adaptations necessary for the requirements of the two sectors and the management of these two crops. Finally, a survey of the players in the diversification sectors has led to the drafting of a methodological guide intended to assist players in the structuring of new sectors.
